SPring Autumn Fair
It looks like our Spring Festival in May will not be going ahead. Hopefully our Autumn Festival will
Open-Mic & Guest Band evenings at the Wheel Inn.
Open-mic music evenings are held in the Wheel main bar on the third Thursday of each month, they have become extremely popular and always feature an eclectic mix of live music. The aim is to help support the community pub by providing free musical entertainment and offering performing opportunities to local musicians.
Hosted by Ian Halliday, who for 10 years has organised the music at the annual Lymington Arts Festival, the evenings welcome all musical genres. Live instrumental accompaniment preferred, multiple performers (duos, trios and bands) are particularly encouraged and will be allocated longer performing slots than solo performers. One pre-booked guest act will perform a forty-minute set, otherwise musicians can book in to perform from 7.30pm on the night and the live music starts at 8pm.
